Change started with me three years ago...
...when I wasn't able to feed both myself and my dogs. My family wanted to take my dogs away because I was sharing my meals with them and wasn't getting the nutrition that I needed. Thanks to Meals on Wheels both my dogs and I are healthy and independent and, I can keep my furry "family".
Aging
While childhood might be the beginning, we know aging is not the end. Our community benefits when older adults maximize their independence and age successfully. Supported by your donations to the Community Fund, United Way is funding Multipurpose Aging Resource Centers to help combat isolation, maintain health and increase awareness for services; Case Management and Support Programs to help older adults remain independent; and Caregiver Support Programs to help those caring for our community’s older adults.
